Love is not a game, it's not a sport, and it's not a crutch. It's more like a long piece of tape... or a bottle of Super Glue. It doesn't connect two people together physically (all though it can).. it connects two people together spirtually.. by spiritually i mean almost like magically, except not the magic of a magician .. but the magic of God. If you truly "fall in love" then you are stuck with it. One can also fall out of love also... think about it...
When you fall in love, you know it. If you question rather you're in love or not, then you aren't in love, because love is unquestionable. Just like if you question if God is real, then you don't really love Him. I've never heard of someone loving something that doesn't exist.
A finished product with love is like a diamond. Coal is unattractive, dirty, and can even be harmful. Yet in several thousand years, it will transform into a diamond that then will be prefectly cut and polished. People that misunderstand love burn the coal just to be warm. They burn the coal before it has a chance of becoming so much more. On the other hand, wait for that coal to become a diamond and give it to the girl that you want to become that "one flesh" with.
Stop staring at love like it's a person, for love does not show, at all. Love is more than a feeling, it's a passion. An artist can paint a painting and not ever sign his name. Then years later viewers of it can stare at that painting and never know who painted it. That's how love is. We can't tell what it looks like, or how it feels, sounds or tastes, yet we rather look at two people using them as an example....
"yeah, they're in love"
Thank God that He gave something so perfect like love to something so imperfect like ourselves.
